This 35 page unit includes 10 Literacy Stations:

Fix the sentence– students fix problems they find in the sentences and
rewrite them correctly.
Read and Write the Room “Spring Time”- students find words in the room that begin with those letters and record it. There is also a page that students can use to find words that end with “Spring Time”.
Spring Magnetic Spelling– students use magnetic letters to build the words. If you don’t have magnets and magnetic boards, they can use any kind of letter manipulatives!

10 Color Spring Words-cut and laminate for
ABC Order– Students manipulate the words so they are in alphabetical order and record it on the recording page. There are 2 differentiated recording pages.
Spring Syllables– 2 Differentiated Syllable stations. Students either copy the word or push the sounds in the spring word and circle the syllables.
Dictionary Drive– students use a dictionary to find the spring words. If your set doesn’t have the words included there is a blank page for you to create your own. You could also allow students to find spring related words on their own.

Listening Station– Beginning, Middle and End listening station. One page is for illustrating and the other is for students to write.

Kite Blends– Print kites on cardstock and laminate. Have students sort the words under the correct kite by the beginning blend. Record words on kite blend recording page.

Cloudy Word Families– Cut out and laminate the word family clouds and letter clouds. Students manipulate letters to create words and record their words on “Cloudy Word Families” recording page.
