Five for Friday {School’s Out!}

I feel like I need to take a moment of silence for myself for getting to the end of this week. Oh my word. The last week of school is on a whole different level.

1. This was our last week of school and we had theme days. The kids loved Bubble Day. We did a little experiment and enjoyed the warm weather in the courtyard.

2. You better believe I was glued to my TV this week watching the Bachelorette. I don’t really love the premise of the show this time. I think it’s kind of mean…but of course I’ll watch it and I’m glad that they ended up picking Kaitlyn. The Ryan Gosling look alike it my #1 pick for obvious reasons…

3. As part of our last week, the kids had their last oral presentations. They were so sweet and shared their Kindergarten memories. This is by far my favorite presentation to listen to. Not only because they have become such confident little speakers but because they reflect on the year.

So sweet…

4. Working on my Vegas presentations! My flash drive crashed a few weeks ago. I lost all of my work. I tried not to curl in a ball and start shaking in the corner.

It’s fine…I’m fine…we’re all fine.

I’m just glad it didn’t happen right before.

I’m getting there and they will be done in time 🙂

5. See ya later Tennessee…we are headed to Destin! I plan on drinking La Croix until I pop and reading until my eyes cross. We probably won’t get another beach trip until after the baby is born so we are taking advantage of it while we can!

  2. That’s so funny that you love the Ryan Gosling look alike on the Bachelorette! My co-teacher and I said the exact same thing the minute he walked out of the limo. Shawn B. all the way. I hope you and your husband enjoy your beach vacation. It looks amazing and is very well deserved! I can’t wait to get into my pile of summer reading books, 19 more days!

    Hello 🙂

    I love your blog and all of your TPT stuff. I was curious about your library. I see you have themed weeks where you put books out for the students to read. I was wondering if you also have a classroom library where the students can choose other books from or is it just that one teacher shelf. I am trying to organize all my stuff this summer to prepare for next year and would love to know how you run your library. Also, what kind of program do you use to create all your tpt stuff. Is it publisher?

    Thank you 🙂
