Kindergarten Science and Social Studies

But I gotta keep y’all in the loop for Christmas in July.

Today everything Science and Social Studies is on sale.

At the beginning of the year, I introduce my students to science through my science tools unit. It’s a hands-on and fun way to get students used to handling science tools.

They use magnifying glasses to search for science tools and balance scales to weigh different objects.

They also use thermometers and record water temperature in cold and hot water.

For Earth Day, we go on an Earth Day walk and pick up trash around the school.

Most of my science and social studies units have emergent readers for students to learn new vocabulary. They also love having something to bring home with them to share with their parents.
