March Currently

Slide1

This might be a new record for blog posts in a week.

I have been the worst about remembering to link up with Farely and her currently that she does each month. However, I was so happy about the transition from February to March that I was actually aware of the date today.

It’s starting to look a little like Spring 🙂

I am listening to my very flustered husband chat it up with the Pottery Barn sales associate about our couch fiasco. We ordered it in January and they keep pushing the delivery date back. First it was end of February, then end of March, and now they told us it wouldn’t even be made until the end of April. Meaning, we won’t have a couch until May. So I would make that more like July.

Needless to say, I think the “fun adventure” of finding another couch might be on the adgenda tomorrow.

Fold out chairs are really starting to flow with the decor I must say…

Sans couch, I am still absolutely in love with our new house! It’s actually starting to feel like a home and not a cardboard graveyard. We even had our first dinner guests last week. We probably would have waited for that, but my friend is one sneeze shy of delivering her baby so we thought we should probably have one last hoorah with them.

My favorite parts of the house are the kitchen {hubby prepping dinner..what a guy} and the front door. ldkjsadj

Two weeks from this very second, we will be drinking some sort of drink with and umbrella in it. I know you all feel me when I say…this winter was less than ideal. The thought of warm sunshine on my face almost gives me tears of happiness.

The question you just asked me was, “So Elizabeth, what are you going to do to get ready for Jamaica?”.

My answer…Spark {cleanse starts tomorrow} {tmi?} {sorry not sorry}.

Make sure to head over to link up at Oh’ Boy 4th Grade!

  1. I LOVE your front door. So stinkin cute and cheerful. I hope you get the couch fiasco settled! We bought the most comfy GIANT couch from Dillards (who knew they sold furniture?!) when we bought our new house and it is one of my favorite places in our house.

And I am totally jealous that you will be in Jamaica. I’m from Texas and we are actually headed NORTH for Spring Break 🙂

  2. love your front door… and good luck with the cleanse. I have a co-worker who does Spark, too!

  3. Can you just pack me in your suitcase and take me with you? Are you doing the advocare cleanse? I would love to do it again but I couldn’t keep the fiber drink down. 🙁

I am so jealous that your are going somewhere warm! It has been so cold here in MA and we are due for another snowstorm. 🙁

  5. Absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE the front door!!!
