March Math Stations

You guys…I promise I’ve half written about 15 blog posts these past couple months and they are ALL about half done. I am making myself a vow right now that I’m going to see this one through! Just riding on the 2 under 2 struggle bus over here. It’s March and these kiddos are rocking their math stations so I just had to share a little bit of what we are doing in our classroom!

I love this time of the year because so much starts to click in their little minds. We start to do so much in our classrooms and I just love math even more so this time of the year!

I posted this picture earlier today and promised you I would have a freebie to go with it and a link to where you can find the magnets.

So many of you have asked about this magnet board and it just came with the classroom! I am guessing that you can go to Home Depot or Lowes and get creative but I’m sorry I’m not much help there.

However, here is the link for the freebie with the shamrocks with the numbers on them and a recording page if you would like that!

Here is where you can snag the  base ten magnets.

I have tons of other resources as well out there for this month for your math stations! I am such a huge fan of BUILD and how I set up math stations as a way of managing the types of stations that my kids are rotating through. We always use some kind of thematic erasers as counters because it’s just more fun that way 🙂

Here are a few pictures of what BUILD math looks like in our classroom this month!

I don’t know if March is a long month or what, but I ALWAYS feel like I am scrambling for math stations this time of the year. I don’t know why. Maybe it’s because they know so much but I am also starting to introduce more but still trying to reinforce more skills. So if you feel that way, I also have “Spring in to Math” that has a ton of different activities that you can use for your math station time!

Miracles really do happen! I actually finished a blog post!

Hopefully, I’ll be back on here slowly but surely ;0)
