Peek at My Week {Gingerbread and Freebie}

Hi there!

I have been on a bit of a blogging hiatus this week. I think I have covered the entire Southeast going from Nashville to Ft. Lauderdale and then hopping on a plane to head to Louisville. Then, making the final drive to Nashville on Friday. As much fun as it was to be traveling over the break, I feel like I haven’t been in “school-mode” at ALL {like really…I kind of forgot I was a teacher}. I’m sort of kind of ready to get back to school this week. I miss my kiddos.

I love this week reading about Gingerbread Men/Girls/Boys/Pirates…etc.

Most everything I’m doing this week is from my Gingerbread unit.

Part of our writing this week is, “How To Catch a Gingerbread Man.” I use the cards to help model using them in writing. You can grab it for free by clicking on any of the pictures!

That’s my week! I am SUPER excited about cyber Monday tomorrow. Especially since I will be able to feed my clip-art obsession. It’s sort of a problem…

Everything will be an additional 20% off in my TpT store.

Happy Shopping!

  1. Are your digital plans acceptable to your admin? I wish our district would be okay with that. It’s detailed yet simple at the same time. I also love Dec. for the Gingerbread tales!

  2. Is “filling in the gaps” a product you sell?

  3. Hi Elizabeth!
    I am a first-year first grade teacher in Nashville and I just have to say that you are so inspiring to me on this new adventure! I think I read recently in one of your posts that you want to be Cara Carroll (who I also love), but just the same, I want to be you. I always look forward to taking a look at your blog and reading all of your great ideas. Thanks for being an encouragement! I can’t wait to use some of these ideas with my own kiddos.

    • Well that is just the sweetest thing anyone has ever…like EVER…said to me. We are neighbors! I hope that you are loving Nashville and your first year of teaching. Maybe we will run in to each other one of these days 🙂
