September Curriculum Map

Presentation3

Well it’s been a little while! I have been in moving mode since conferences last month and we are finally here and I have internet…which I haven’t had for a week (woe is me I know…). So, I knew I had to get in here before August came and went and I start back to school! I am starting a little later than I normally do this year so I’m thankful for that because of the move, but I am ready to dig my heels back in and start school!

School is starting a little later for me this year…thank goodness because I don’t think I could have moved and started school at the same time. We would have been in boxes until Christmas! Now, we are somewhat unpacked and I can wrap my head around school! This year, I’m teaching “TK” which stands for Transitional Kindergarten. I’m going to be doing  a lot of the same things but probably slowing down a little bit and getting the opportunity to focus on social and emotional needs on top of academic needs!

The only thing I don’t have up and running just yet is my phonemic awareness unit. I’m in the middle of working on it. It’s going to be a mix of best practices that I’ve done in the past but I’m trying to merge it so that it’s not so overwhelming and it’s a 5 minute quick activity that can be done each day. Be on the lookout for a facebook live or YouTube video coming you way soon with ways I plan on implementing this!

If you click the picture, it will take you to the map and the resources where you can download it and see where to find the resources.

My poor room is still looking a little rough, but hoping to have it put together soon…like the rest of my life 🙂
