Sorry folks…lots going on this week!

I’m kind of all over the place.

First off, congrats to Tammy Sapp for winning my Handwriting Hall of Fame unit!

I have a serious chocolate problem. My mouth was watering all day yesterday thinking about the Thunder Cake that was going to be busted out during snack time.

You think I made that cake? You are too kind.

No, I just ate it. I have wonderful parent volunteers that have many extra talents.

Like baking Thunder Cake. I may or may not have a piece in the refrigerator that I may or may not be eating for breakfast this morning. The chocolate problem is a real thing…

Before we got to dig in to the cake, we had to do a little writing after we read the book.

This is from my weather unit, but grab it here to go with the book Thunder Cake. If you are going to read this book and do the activity, I highly recommend eating chocolate cake when you finish it. You don’t necessarily have to share either…
