Christmas Clean out and Reader’s Theatre!

How fabulous is my Dad for building this Reader’s Theatre for my classroom!?!
YAY!ย
I spent all day yesterday painting it that fabulous shade of green (blue?).
I have some pretty unbelievable readers this year. Meaning I can put anything in front of them and they can read it…so this is my solution. We have been talking about reading for an audience. Here is their chance.ย
My Dad also put a whiteboard on the front so they can write the name of their production and the shelving in the back is so they can store their props.ย
I am hoping this will be more motivation to get my kids excited about reading ๐Ÿ™‚
Side note…
Guess what isn’t as fun as putting up Christmas decorations?
Taking them all down.
Good thing not every holiday is that involved with the decorating…whew!
Happy Saturday!

  4. What a cute reader’s theatre. How sweet is your dad for making that for you!!! I have made my hubby build me some shelves for my classroom. I plan on completely re-arranging my room this summer and I think I am going to have more for him to build ๐Ÿ™‚

  5. What an adorable Reader’s Theatre. I know your kiddos are going to have a blast using it and probably even more fun when they get to design and make their own story character puppets. I have made some cute ones with toilet brushes. I think I might even have the picture of the Big, Bad Wolf one on my blog.

What a great dad gift. =)

Your cute blog is off to a great start. I just became your newest follower last night.

Do you know how to leave a link for your blog in your comment? If not, here is how I learned to do it:
