Seuss-tastic kinda day!

Ok, I’m officially obsessed with this bow my Mom found for me at this boutique in Nashville. I planned my entire outfit around this bow today. I wish that I could be creative enough to think of cool things like this. I also wish I could wear this bow! I almost did’t put the picture up of me with the giant wine glass in the background, but really, who am I kidding? Of course, a Kindergarten teacher has a giant glass or wine on display in her home! Just go with it…
Now, once I got to school today I got to see all of my fabulous little Cat in the Hat kiddos. They all dressed in black and we made our bows and hats to wear five minutes all day. They looked so darn cute! I have a hard time getting the hats not to fall in their faces. I used a sentence strip to staple it down but some of the hats ripped and we had  little bit of a dilemma. You can see some of them flopping already. IF you are smarter than me…you would have printed these off on card stock. There’s always next year 🙂
If you haven’t done Cat in the Hat yet, feel free to download the hat and the bow that you see in the picture. You can get it at my Google docs by clicking here or by clicking the picture. I am also going to put it at my TpT store!
Happy Seuss week!

  1. Oh my goodness. You look adorable! So do those kiddos in your room. We have read the book but didn’t get to any of the “fun” stuff. I am saving it for Friday. Thanks for the freebie! Have a great week.

  2. Love the bow! Cute class, too!

  5. So cute! I love that bow! My hats were so bad last year I had to tape paint sticks to them to get them to stay up!

    • Haha…I did the same thing this year! I think next year I am going to copy them smaller and on card stock. The kids were just hanging out yesterday afternoon with half of their hat hanging in their face. I think it bothered me more than them 🙂

  6. Love this! Thanks for sharing your bows and hats!
