I’m baacckkkk!!!!

We made it home after the longest day ever of travel! I woke up at 5:00 a.m. this morning so I think Im going to have some adjusting to do. I am so thankful for the guest bloggers that kept things up and running while I was out and about on my adventure across the pond. They are all wonderful and I hope that you went to visit them over at their blogs as well!
Before the pictures start…I got some great news while I was gone. Remember American Reading Company? They sent me all of those amazing books a few months ago? Well, I have formed a relationship with some of the wonderful people that work there and they are sponsoring me to go to the Blogher conference this summer! I am beyond excited and so thrilled that they are going to sponsor me. I can’t say enough good things about their products and, more importantly, the people that work there. If you are looking for leveled books for your classroom or your school is looking for a great company to work with for new books. This is where you need to go. When you have time, you should check out their web-site!
I am really excited about this opportunity to go to this conference and learn more about honing my bloggy skills and meeting other bloggers from all over. It sounds amazing!
Now on to the pictures! No joke, I took over 400 pictures so I didn’t want to overwhelm you all when I got back so I tried to condense it down as much as possible.
My poor husband was the target for most of the candid shots since I was the one with the camera. As I was looking through them this morning, you can tell how tired we look from beginning to end. We learned the true meaning of travel. It was such a blast and I am so glad that we were able to do it.
In Ireland, we stayed in Dublin but took a day trip to Cliffs of Moher and Galway. All of the scenery to Galway was breathtaking. I took wayyyyy too many pictures.
We also did a music pub crawl and went to every museum and place we could get to. My legs felt like they would fall off at the end of every day. But again, so worth it.
We also got to see some incredible artwork. I love Degas, Renoir, Picasso, Monet, Van Gogh…etc. Hubs kinda digged it too so that was our art fill for the trip.
In London, we went on a day tour, shopped a lot, saw Jersey boys and I dove in to every little book store I could find. I came back with so many great books. I will have to do a separate post about the books…there is just too many great books to try and squeeze in to this post of pictures and babbling on and on. With that being said…
Here are some of the pictures!

And of course, we ate and ate and ate. Then, we ate some more. There is something about cheese in Europe that just makes my heart happy. We ate oysters in the market in Galway that were pulled from the water that morning and still tasted like the ocean. I ate chocolate that I swear is still melting in my mouth and I even talked hubsters in to an afternoon tea with scones 🙂
Glad to be home…missed you all!
