PTL!!!

Before I get into foot drama…
Cherie won the presentation pack! Hooray!!! Check your inbox 🙂
Now on to the foot. You know it’s going to be good news because I put this shirt on yesterday after I found out the results of my CT scan.
It was the closest thing I had to a PTL shirt so I just went with it. Move past the fact that I own this shirt.
First of all, thank you all so much for your sweet words and prayers. I was looking at my blog on my phone sitting in the waiting room and I feel like I have another family.
As I was sitting there, I was having visions of an ugly scar on my foot from surgery and hobbling around Eurpoe on a broken foot and I was feeling a bit bummed out. I got the CT scan, went home and waited for them to call me to let me know about surgery.
Well, I got the call.
And guess what?
I have an extra ligament in my foot which showed up as a break on the X-Ray. The ligament is just sprained pretty bad. My first prayer was please don’t let it be broken and then when I was told it was broken my second prayer was no surgery. First prayer was already answered and I didn’t know it.
So me and my extra bony ligament took the boot back because it was making me walk all lopsided.
So all that fear and worry was really for nothing. I mean my foot hurts, but it will heal. It’s not broken and no surgery required! Woot Woot!
It’s go time on the packing.
Since I’m not at school, this is my picture for the Teacher Talk Tuesday. This is what teachers do best, vacation 🙂
I am not even halfway done and Jon (my hubs) thinks that we are going to be able to share a suitcase.
Dream on.
