First of all, my prayers and thoughts are with everyone that was affected by the horrible storms that came through yesterday.
Today, I had the opportunity to play hooky and hang out with some of my favorite Kindergarten teachers. Can you call PD playing hooky? It all started last night at Chuy’s where we spent 3 (yes…3) hours talking over enchiladas and jalapeño dip. Which then turned in to a Monday filled with all kinds of new ideas and getting to hang out and go to a grown up lunch!
Here are some of the highlights…
I am fairly confident that you probably recoginize some of these people?
Kim from Kindergals, Deanna from (let’s get real) Mrs. Jump’s class, Greg from Kindergarten Smorgasboard. I also got to meet Sarah from Kindergarten Korner. She is way super sweet and I am thrilled that I got to meet her! If you come up to me and tell me your name and your blog…I will have no idea who you are until you pull out your phone with your blog pulled up and I go “OOOHHHH!!! I know you!”.
True statement.
There is a Kim Adsit photobomb picture floating around somewhere…
Not a bad Monday. We had a great time together, but I will be ready to get back to school tomorrow. I love the week before Thanksgiving. So many fun stories to read and they are always so sweet writing and talking about all of the things they are thankful for.
Here is my newest creation. Don’t be so shocked that I actually have something up and done before I am going to teach it. I may or may not be someone who creates things the morning of…
Here it is and it has been edited and already up on TpT and my own little shop here. I also (wait for it) zipped my first file together. It’s the little things in life…I wanted you to be able to use your own Gingerbread books for this unit. You know I love to create and more than anything…I love making your life a little bit easier with helpful resources. I would love to give a few away! Just enter below and I’ll pick a winner later this week!
