1. Today is the big day! We are moving….
And I’m at school. {It’s the 100th day and I just can’t let them celebrate without me!}
Good thing my hubby is super reliable.
Breathing in and out.
I can’t talk about it for too long or my palms start to sweat, my breathing gets shallow, and I won’t be able to finish this post {which would be tragic…I know}. 
2. Last weekend, my Mom and I went to see “I Love Lucy” Live on Stage. So funny and the girl that played Lucy was scary good. If it comes to your town {and you’re a Lucy fan} then I definitely recommend it! 
3. I have been loving our WW lessons this week. I love teaching them about writing in the real world. We talked about ads, posters, and signs. I put this picture up on IG and had a lot of questions about their spelling! First off, we do DSA {Developmenal Spelling} from day one in here. It is something I swear by. If you want to know more about it…I would just love to e-mail you my thesis {wink wink}. 
4. We’ve also been loving our non-fiction unit this week. Is is just me or do kids love NF? I know I have said it before, but I can’t say enough good things about American Reading Company! The books are amazing.
What do I love about them {I know you are asking yourself}.
The photographs, the fact that they can actually read them, power words and reading strategies in the back of every book, and topics that kids really love to learn about.
Kick your feet up and read a book why don’t ya?
5. Like I said, today is the 100th day!
I have the best team! If you don’t work with people that lift you up and make you a better teacher, might I suggest you come join us? :0)

How I wish I taught with you? We would have so much fun! Have fun moving. Hopefully all the hard stuff will be done by the time you get there and you can do all the fun stuff….ha!
