1. Absolutley nothing to do with school, but I finally saw Frozen.

And I LOVED it.

I teach Kindergarten. I live in Neverland…

Of course I am going to love it. Now I understand my kid’s obsession with naming everyone and everything Elsa and Anna.

2. This week was a mix of Earth Day and Plants. So in one all encompasing word…it was a mess. We ate “dirt”.

And it was delish.

There was a lot of sugar and chocolate covered faces. In their eyes…it was a success.

3.  We made bags and picked up trash. They were slightly disappointed in the lack of trash around the school. I was a little relieved that there wasn’t much trash to pick up because I didn’t want them to get who knows what all over their hands and their bags were too cute to dirty up.

4. We did a “seed” sort yesterday. I put seed in quotation marks because I did techinally use beans. I may have used split peas too…#lostthesunflowerseeds

5. Started with something not related to school , so I am ending the same way. Headed to see some more music tonight. As if Bruce Springsteen and Nickel Creek weren’t enough last weekend, we are headed to see Foster the People tonight!

Now, if I can just make it until the end of the day without scattering Kindergarten all over my room…

I’m not making any promises.

Happy blissful Friday to you! xo
