Peek at My Week

I made it out alive from my first full week of Kindergarten! I feel like that is something that we should all be celebrating. I did sleep for 11 hours on both Friday and Saturday night. Which means that I am even more ready for this week! Mrs. Hall is very thankful for coffee and Spark. The end.

Just kidding…it’s not the end of my post because I still haven’t even shown you all of the fun that’s going to happen. We are going to start stations and centers this week. I know it’s going to be  a big confusing mess. The only way to get through it is to do it for a full week. Totally committ…

I might be drinking Spark like water this week but we’ve got this.

I am not quite as put together as Deedee so there aren’t any links in the plans {hanging my head}, but I am happy to share where I am getting my resources for this week!

I love Kathleen Pedersen’s ABC centers for the Frugal Teacher. I LOVE them {all caps kind of love}.

All of our literacy stations this week are going to be from her unit.

I am using my Station Cards to help keep everyone organized and moving from on center to the next. I had to make new ones this year because my old comic sans cards had to GO. Comic sans is banned from room F111.

Mad Math Spins are going to be making their first appearance this week! I am so excited about this new unit that I just posted yesterday. I have math skills for the year on these spinners and it’s a game that I can change out when I swap out math tubs for a new rotation and I won’t have to explain it every single time…

If you want to read more about it and enter to win it and a set of spinners…check out my post from yesterday.

On Thursday, my student teacher is going to be taking over during literacy block and is going to be reading Rhyming Dust Bunnies and doing a rhyming hunt with dust bunny pens.

Of course there are a few other units that I am going to be pulling from, but these four are the highlights of the week!

What are you up to this week?

Make sure to link up with Deedee if you have plans to share!
