I am so excited to be hosting this linky with GoNoodle!
I don’t know about you, but GoNoodle has saved my life this week with temperatures well below freezing. Most counties in our state closed on Thursday due to negative wind chills. Of course, we went to school but, needless to say, we did not make it out to recess. Three days in a row.
No recess.
I think it goes without saying that GoNoodle has been my sanity saver this week.
The idea of this linky is just fun and easy. The first topic has to do with brain-breaks and the rest is all about little ole you!

Fav GoNoodle Brain Break: I am SO thankful for these indoor recess mash-ups. It’s like every GoNoodle brain-break all mashed in one 12-15 minute long break.
Purrrr-fect for indoor recess!
It starts out with a little warm-up.
Then, the dance party begins!
I am not kidding when I say that it is like a mini-mosh pit (in a fun..controlled Kindergarten way) when Koo Koo Kangaroo comes on. Get Yo Body Movin’ is kind of their (and by “their” I mean “me”) favorite. This one was played more than once this week because it starts out with this one.
This one isn’t my (which really…it’s all about me :-P) favorite, but the kids love it. They have to run in place and they start to sweat a little at this part.
Maximo makes an appearance AND they zumba.
I know my pictures are kind of blurry but that is because they were doing exactly what I wanted them to be doing.

Happy Place: My next sanity saver is thinking of the beach, the sun, or anyplace that doesn’t have THIS reading on their weather app.
There is a reason I live in the south!
Guilty Pleasure: The amount of time I spent on-line shopping over the break is kind of a problem. I seriously LOVE The Mint Julep and Flaunt Boutique. I’m not the only one with this guilty pleasure it seems…
Yes, we are on the same team, take selfies and we are twinning.
Keep Calm and…: I know some of you have already gotten one but I am still feeling left out!

I’m not a blogger, but my class LOVES Ninja Training and the Roller Coaster brain breaks from Koo Koo Kangaroo. Ninja Training gets us laughing every time! My girls love to Zumba, but the boys love any of the Olympic events. Thanks for the giveaway!
Up until yesterday, my class’s favorite was Get Yo Body Movin but yesterday we did some of the new Koo Koo’s and they loved the secret handshakes! I think they will be asking for that all the time now

My class is currently loving Pop See Ko and it literally was stuck in my head all morning yesterday!!
My students love the Koo Koo secret handshake, roller coaster, and also Zumba! I have loved implementing this into my classroom this year!
We love Maximo as well as the Zumba dances! I use them for brain breaks and as an extra incentive on Fridays if they had a super week!
Secret Handshakes #1 (now #2 and #3!) are our faves!!
Kitty High Five is my favorite only because my kinders laugh so hard during it! It’s the weirdest video ever but so much fun!

I used this same one with my kiddos yesterday! I think my favorite brain break is Koo Koo Kangaroo’s “Awesome Rainbows”! Whenever our letter for the week was R, we watched it quite a few times 🙂

We also LOVE our Gonoodle time! We take several breaks during the day. Anything Koo Koo Kangaroo and Field Trip! The new indoor recess activities are wonderful and very helpful given the cold snap we are having.
I used Go Noodle for indoor recess the first time this week. Our P.E. teacher sent the indoor recess links for Go Noodle to the staff to use. My students loved it! I think the indoor recess mix of exercise is perfect for my class!
I love the Maximo brain breaks because they really calm my students down, but my students favorites are the Koo Koo ones. Preferably Pop See Ko and Get Yo Body Movin’ Love this linky! So fun!

We LOVE GoNoodle over at Norwood Elementary in Baltimore, MD. In my Kindergarten class, my babies love Koo Koo Kangaroo “This or That”. They also love the roller coaster ride! (I haveto admit that one is my favorite also). We love posing silly for the picture on the ride! Pick us!! 🙂

We LOVE GoNoodle! We are on our 5th champ and about to max Squatchy Berger out. I’ve added some Harry Kindergarten to the YouTube section, so we use GoNoodle for transitions and learning songs too. KooKooKangaroo is our favorite. We had beautiful and warm weather all week, so we didn’t get to try out the indoor recess mixes yet, but our time will come. We did try some of the new brain breaks. LOVED Pop See Ko. My first graders were laughing so hard when the hot dog came out. Roller Coaster and Push the Buttons are the most requested From KooKooKangaroo. My class also loves Maximo. At the beginning of the school year it was hard for them to really try and take the yoga activities seriously, but giving out Yogi Awards and choosing a leader really helped with that. Now they ask to do yoga! Last week when we were being a little squirrelly, we stopped and did a Flow activity and it totally calmed the class down. Some of my students request the sporting events. We don’t do these every day, but when we do, I love how they bring the class together to work as a team. They encourage each other to do their best and I love hearing and seeing that. They haven’t yet figured out I control the medals either, which cracks me up, because most of them are readers now and it tells you how to control it right on the screen. Ha! I can’t say enough good things about GoNoodle. It has changed my classroom for the better. I have tried to get every teacher I know to check it out. Every one who does loves it, too. Whenever we find a new one that our class likes, we email each other to share. It’s great!
My scholars are in love with ice cream and guacamole.
GoNoodle is absolutely the best! The kids love taking those brain breaks to get their bodies moving, and minds ready to learn! My favorite brain break has to be KooKoo Kangaroo’s “Roller coaster!” What a fun and interactive brain break! The kids love the beat!
My kindergarteners LOVE Pop See Ko! And I have to admit I love it too 🙂 I find myself singing it to myself all day, even on the weekends!
We use GoNoodle almost everyday. If we don’t go outside for recess we’ll do more than two videos. For indoor recess the kids love Koo Koo Kangaroo, I think the skip counting is played the most because of the grandma part at the end. Every time we do GoNoodle we always end with Maximo to calm them down and to get refocused. Since we came back from break our routine for this has been off since I was out the last part of the week sick. But I have a feeling going into this week GoNoodle will be a huge sanity saver for me since I’m still not 100%. I love GoNoodle and most importantly my kids love it and they learn from it. I get compliments all the time from our recess aides when they’re inside that it looks like the kids are having so much fun, and that’s because they are. Thank You GoNoodle and Elizabeth for blogging about it!
I LOVE GoNoodle! We were using Just Dance videos randomly found on YouTube, but GoNoodle has everything right there, completely appropriate and so much FUN!! I love that you can add your own to your favorites, too! Hip hip hooray for GoNoodle!
I forgot to mention my favorite GoNoodle song! I love all the Koo Koo Kangaroos, but one of my favorites it Dinosaur Stomp!
I love Go Noodle! Our principal signed us all up this year and my kids love it! We do yoga every afternoon after recess and on Friday we do Go Noodle instead! LIke you, I am a huge online boutique buyer. FIllyFlair.com is one of my favorites! and Red Dress Boutique…so many cute things and it is a plus being able to shop on your couch 🙂

Roller coaster
My kinders’ favorite is the Koo-Koo Kangaroo “Shake your foot”. They giggle so loud when they say “Put your booty in the middle”. They love chicken noodling as they call it =0).

My kids LOVE the secret handshakes. I can’t lie. They are my favorite too :). I even came home and taught them to my husband lol.
