Color Day Activities {Pin it to Win It}

At the beginning of the year, one thing my Kindergarten team likes to do as a group is “color days”. We ask the kids to wear either a shirt or something for the color of the day. We sing songs, learn poems, read books, and do various other activities to help them learn their color words.

Frog Street Press is my favorite and there are a few on YouTube, but I actually just recommend that you buy the songs to have!

While I’ve been working on my back to school presentation, I’ve kind of realized that a lot of my color day activities are sort of a mess. I like having all of my activities and ideas in one neat little bundle. It just makes it easier to access and organize. I have been wanting to make a unit for our color day book activities, but just haven’t gotten around to it! Now, I’m all done 🙂
