I am a little late on my Peek at My Week this week because I have thoroughly been enjoying my Fall Break. I went and got myself a prenatal massage (which I highly recommend to any pregnant people out there), finished the nursery, done a little shopping and really just got some good R&R. I think that this is kind of my last hurrah before I have Amelia Frances so I am soaking it all up.
However, I am back at it tomorrow and here’s what the remainder of the week looks like.
I have a couple of activities that you can snag for leaves and trees if you need some resources! One of my favorite activities to do the week we study about leaves and trees is to go on a “tree walk”. I have students search to find different parts of the tree like leaves, acorn and sticks.
They get to keep the pieces they find and put them in a tree book.
There is also a quick writing portion that goes along with the book that we do once we are done with the tree walk.
This is a freebie in my TpT store so if you are wanting to do this activity with your kiddos, just click here or the picture below.
Ignore the typo on Tuesday that says we are going to do a map about the apple orchard…
Obviously, this pregnancy brain thing is getting to me.
This is the activity that we are going to do with the book Leaf Jumpers. I blogged about it last year and it is also a freebie that you can get from that post with more details on how to implement it with your kids.
My books are loaded and ready to go for the week!
If you are looking to add to your October resources, I’ve bundled all of my October units and they are 20% off when you get the bundle!
