So many fun activities this week! I love the week before Halloween. The read-alouds are some of my favorites. I have my bookshelf all set up and ready to go but I don’t even have all of the books displayed that I love!
Here are my plans for the week.
One of my favorite read-alouds is The Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything. We do a whole group re-tell with the pictures from the story and then the kids complete a pumpkin head describing re-tell activity.
Pretty much my entire week comes from my Boo Unit.
There are lots of literacy and math activities that you can use this week.
I love this freebie bat craft from Khrys at Keepin’ it Kool in Kinderland.
We still have five days left in our October BUILD math tubs so the kiddos will be wrapping that up and getting ready for November for the following week!
Hope you have a not so crazy Halloween week 🙂
All of my October goodies are on sale through tomorrow!
Hi Elizabeth- Such great ideas! I was wondering where you found the illustrated sequencing cards for “The Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything” shown on your whiteboard image above. They are perfect for the story with the action marks. Thanks!
