Kiddos love these hilarious books about dust bunnies that rhyme all the time! I hope that these activities will be helpful and fun for your kiddos to learn rhyming words!
This 23 page rhyming unit includes:
- Template for Rhyming Words: Car, Dog and a blank one for you to fill in (pick your own) .
- Match Up Dust Bunnies (cut out and laminate the cards). You can do this one of two ways. 1. Display the cards around the room and make it a read/hunt for the matching rhyming words or 2. Give students the cards and have them match them up and record on the Match Up Dust Bunnies Recording Page.
- Differentiated versions of “No, Bob”. Students either cross out the two pictures that do not match the first picture or they can circle the rhyming picture that matches and leave the non-rhyming words out. If students are struggling then theycan complete the “Help Bob Rhyme” activity where students can match the rhyming pictures.
- Read and Write the Room: Dust Bunny. Find words around the room that begin with the letters that spell out “Dust Bunny”
- Rhyming Words anchor chart to be completed whole group (directions included).
