Print of the CVC (missing the V) pictures on a cardstock page and put it in a page protector or laminate it. Students can then write on the cards with an expo marker. There are three different differentiated literacy activities that students can complete with these cards.
1. Fill in the missing vowel and check real or nonsense. Draw a picture or write a sentence.
2. Pick 5 real words and draw a picture.
3. Do a writing sort of real vs. nonsense
