This unit includes:
Re-tell flow map- Have students use the flow map to re-tell the story or to write about their stone soup (if you make it for your class to try).
Stone Soup Ingredients (2 versions)- As a pre-reading activity, students draw and list what they think will be in stone soup. It can also be used after reading for students to draw and list what was in stone soup.
Stone Soup Story Elements- Draw or write about the characters, setting, problem and solution.

Stone Soup Story Element Comparison Chart- Use the chart to compare four different versions of the story. There is a pre-made chart and a chart that can be used to fit the versions you read in your classroom.
