Have I told you lately how much I love my new Erin Condren Teacher Planner?
The box on the front porch when I got home from school last week felt a little bit like Christmas. It comes in the fanciest shipping box I have ever seen. I almost didn’t even want to open the box because it was so cute. But, who are we all kidding here? After that fleeting thought, you know I ripped that thing open like a five year old at their birthday party.
Confession: I sort of love this planner so much that I had to take it outside for a photo shoot.
I also loved the option of putting a picture in the front. That’s the picture from Tahoe when we went a few weeks ago. I think that when I flip that planner open in the dead of winter it might take me back to those summer feelings #bliss.
There are so many things that I love about this planner, but I’m just going to touch on a few things that I REALLY love about it. I do all of my lesson planning on the computer, but I have a few fellow teachers that use their plan books and write it all out. My plan for that part of the book is to keep track of Scope and Sequence and “themes” that we are focusing on.
One way to help me do that is having a list of all of the important dates for the year! I probably need to make a copy of this and post it above my bathroom sink. I NEVER know when important days are. I have a hard time remembering how old I am {sidenote: I feel like everyone between the ages of 26-33 look exactly alike so I forget how old I am sometimes because I’m in that range}. There are days I didn’t even know that exsisted that are in here.
Book Lover’s Day!? I didn’t even know that was a thing and I am one!!!! #alreadymissedit
I started writing in my planner before I even knew about the stickers.
Things started looking a lot more together after I found the stickers in the back. There are also blank stickers that you can write on yourself and create your own little category. I thought that they did a pretty good job of covering all of the basics with their stickers. Report cards, IEP, assemblies, staff meetings, reminders, parent conferences…pretty much covers it all 🙂
Tabs for days.
I can’t even pretend like I forgot a date this year because I don’t have a very good excuse not to write it down in my Teacher Planner!Â
The quality is the last part that I will leave you with. This is something that I will now purchase every year from here on out. It is top notch stuff. I love all of the quotes and color that is found in this perfect little planner!
Head over to Erin Condren to pick yourself up a little treat for the school year!
