Hi, my name is Elizabeth and I have a shopping problem.
Now you are supposed to introduce yourself and we will just move on from there.
I might have gotten a little click happy. I had to do something to take out the sting of the first Monday back to school. Can I get an amen?
Here is my list of goodies that I am SO excited to use this year.
I am so excited to use this animal research report that my friend Natalie made. We do a big end of the year research project that usually involves animals and this is the perfect addition to help my students get used to research. I also love it because they can use non-fiction books, their computer and/or asking family members as a way to help develop their researching skills at an early age!
LOVE it!
The other half of What The Teacher Wants, Rachelle, made these mini-behavior clips that I can’t wait to implement as a part of my classroom management. They have been laminated I smacked my hand to my forehead when I saw it because why haven’t I been doing this ALL along!? It makes so much more sense than having the chart hanging in the room. It also keeps it between the teacher and the student with
Don’t worry…the buying continues.
Kim Adsit has the BEST Reader’s Workshops. I have been eyeing these for quite some time now. I am so glad that I have them all nice and bundled and ready for the entire year!
These are going to be so fabulous for the beginning of the year when we focus so heavily on phonemic awareness. You all know that Deanna is rollin’ out some legit Kindergarten material. I love this unit because I can use it as independent work, group work or during centers.
Another ABC unit that I am loving right now is Cara’s Interactive Alphabet Notebook {Letters A-Z}. I am all about interactive notebooks and hers are so
I put together a memory/scrapbook at the end of the year every year for my kids. I am {ahem} not the most organized when it comes to keeping it all together. Erica might just be making my life a little easier this year!
I’m always looking for new things to do at the beginning of the year. I love this new take on the beginning of the year to make your kids feel special and “super”. Holly came up with such a fun unit called “Everyone’s a Superhero”. I can’t wait to try it out!
I also had to load up on my clip-art from my favorites Whimsy-Clips, Melonheadz, and Graphics from the Pond.
This sale is still not over..which is bad news for me!
You have another day to stock up on all of these goodies like I did. If you are done shopping, make sure to link up at Blog Hoppin’ for “Show Us What You Bought”.
Happy Shopping 🙂
From a one addict to another every purchase you made was totally worth it! I am going back to fill my cart again today. Thanks for helping me load it up, haha.
