Field Trips rock my world and a linky

We are studying animals and their habitats.
“Let’s go on a Field Trip with 121 Kindergartners to the Wetlands” said no sane Kindergarten teacher ever. (I’m copy writing that for an E card so back off 🙂
We left at 8:45 a.m. and rode on the bus for an hour to get there and an hour back. The bus ride reminds me of a flight to Vegas. It’s a big party going there and a coffin on the way home. Same deal for a Kindergarten field trip.
We had two kids fall head first in to the creek while fishing for tadpoles and only three kids walk through poison ivy.
I’d say it was a success (thanks for the virtual fist bump). I have no pictures to share with you except for a lot of sleeping babies on a bus for the trip home.
But now I am tired.
I went with some teacher friends after school for margaritas and pedicures. Is there any other way to end a field trip other than that? I don’t think so…
Before I go, I am linking up with Christina at Bunting Books and Bainbridge for her linky. I just started creating products not too long ago so I don’t have a lot of feedback yet. My best seller is my Fairy Tale Unit Mega Literacy Pack. People seem to be liking it and buying it pretty regularly. I really created it because I felt like everything that I was going to send home was a bit dated.

Sorry I had to make that huge but the color makes it hard to read!
It’s on sale until Friday so grab it if you need lesson plans for the rest of the year. It will get you through at least a week..maybe longer depending on what you want to do from it!
If you want to try to win it before you buy it, enter my giveaway I am having this week for Teacher Appreciation. Are you feeling appreciated this week? I really wouldn’t know it was National Teacher Appreciation Day if it wasn’t for the blogging world. Our school is celebrating next week.
Cheers to all of you wonderful teachers! You are all amazing!!!
PS- I am doing my first round of guest blogging tomorrow and Thursday! I am a little nervous but also very excited and honored that I was asked to do it!
