Happy Friday! And do you know what makes this Friday even better than every other Friday?!?
It’s Fall Break!
I am taking full advantage of doing nothing this weekend and getting a prenatal massage and recuperating from pregnancy 😛 This whole teaching Kindergarten at 36 weeks pregnant is no joke!
1. Go Cubs Go!!!! I am so flipping excited about the cubs advancing to the national league playoffs this weekend. That is mostly what I’ll be doing…biting my nails and watching them play. Even though I don’t live in Chicago, my family is from there and I was told at birth that I was a Cubs fan so that’s where is all started.
2. My cute hubby turned 30 this week.
3. This has been kind of a wild and crazy week. We went to the pumpkin patch on Tuesday for our field trip.
I can’t say enough great things about Gentry’s Farm.
4. I might be a little crazy for this, but I’m going to see Walk the Moon (again) this weekend. I think I’ll probably stay away from the mosh pit 🙂
 5. The nursery is almost done! I’ll have more pictures later 🙂
I so wish I could take my middle schoolers on a field trip to the pumpkin patch. I know they’d have a blast!
I remember teaching Kinder at 36 weeks (I did it twice!). There is no other exhaustion like it. My kiddos were trained to pick up anything I dropped and eventually they would just come to me so I could stay off of my feet! So glad you get to take advantage of the break to recuperate a little bit!

Always Kindergarten
Your nursery couldn’t be sweeter. How fun! I remember way back when I set up my first nursery. Lots of happy memories. Your life is about to change in the best possible way. A lamp with a soft light was used a lot in the middle of the night so that we didn’t have to turn on the main light. It was way too bright for little eyes. Then I could sit and nurse quiet, in gentle light. A nice night light is nice too. All my best, Elizabeth. You will be a spectacular mommy!
Love your decorations below your TV!!!!
The candy corns on the console below your TV are SOOO cute!!! 🙂 What a gorgeous pumpkin patch! Now I’m going to have pumpkin patch envy when we go to ours! 😉
Love the look of your nursery, enjoy a lazy weekend! Trip to the pumpkin patch sounds and looks amazing – I wish we had stuff like that here!
