Happy Friday!
1. The day before Halloween. God bless all you fabulous teachers that have made it out alive this week. However, I am SO thankful that Halloween is on a Saturday.
2. One of my favorite activities to do with my kids during this time of the year is this Q-Tip skeleton. I always read Skeleton Hiccups, we do a writing response, dance to the “bones” song on GoNoodle and then we make this guy.
3. I work with the best people in the whole wide world. They threw a shower for us this Monday and it was so incredibly thoughtful and sweet. I can’t believe I only have 3 more weeks to go before Amelia Frances gets here!
4. We got to read the new Worry Woo story about the new woo named “Zelly”. I love these little monsters and how they have transformed a lot of my character education with my students. They are age appropriate and my students really connect with the characters. I also love them because they target emotions that five and six year olds are really experiencing and I think that we forget what life is like for little people once we become adults. I’m planning on having all of the Worry Woos at my house for my own kids.
5. Lastly, I’m have a little sale today and tomorrow for Halloween. Anna (from Crazy for First Grade) made this adorable graphic. Click on the image to grab some goodies!
Love the skeleton!
