Five for Friday

I have been the WORST at linking up this year so I didn’t want to miss it this week!

First off…happy Friday!

1. I had such a special baby shower thrown by some of my very best girlfriends last Saturday. It was so fun and SO pink <3 I loved every second of it and wish it hadn’t gone by so fast! One of my best girlfriends flew in with her little girl and spent the weekend with us. It was so wonderful and Amelia Frances and I have already been spoiled rotten! 9 more weeks to go and this little girl needs to make an appearance so we can get her all decked out!

2. By some miracle, I was able to finish my transportation unit this week and we did a lot of the activities! I did a post this week but here are a few to highlight what we did.

3. Can I just take a second to profess my love for Scholastic? I got ALL of these books with points and for a book loving teacher like myself…it’s like hitting the jackpot! I am so thankful for the scholastic book club!

4. Yesterday, we did our science tool stations. It wore me straight out and I even had parents come in to help BUT my kids loved it and ate it up. You can totally do it whole group and do one a day…but my kids love getting their hands on the tools and doing it themselves. It was so fun but if you don’t have any extra help, I wouldn’t try to bust it all out in one day unless you are feeling like superwoman.

5. I have become a consignment fan! I picked up some of the BEST stuff this week at a kids consignment sale. There were even some great deals for school things. I would say that I came out with enough outfits to keep this little girl clothed for at least  month 😛
