Five for Friday

Guys…I’m going to be totally honest with you. My Five for Friday is basically just my IG posts. It’s just a nice little summary of the week 🙂

How is your summer going? I know not everyone is on summer break yet…but I hope it’s coming soon!

1. Summer is my reading time. I give my Kindle battery a run for its money. If I am not working, I am reading. I thought this might be the summer of catching up on TV shows that I missed through the school year, but it’s just become a Kindle kind of summer. I just finished “The Fault in Our Stars” and had to finish reading it so I could ugly cry. Because I just did, and you will too.

3. Some of you know that I am also a spin instructor. I teach a couple classes a week and LOVE it. On Tuesday, the owner of the gym asked me to teach at a “Movies in the Park” event for a quick demonstration. I didn’t really think anything of it. We teach our classes in an almost completely darkened room.

I agreed to do it.

Needless to say, I was a bit surprised when they set up two bikes in front of a couple hundred people in broad daylight to show how we teach our classes. Here I am in my bright pink pants looking like a deer in headlights trying to make sense of the music and what my two little gerbils were doing on their bikes. I think I might just watch next week and stick to my dark spin room 🙂

You don’t have a monogrammed straw hat?

I have this small little problem with monograms. To the point that my wedding veil was monogrammed…

Anywhoooo, I follow this fun little boutique on IG @flauntboutiquetx. You can just leave a comment with your e-mail and SOLD and then that little picture of that little thing you wanted will show up on your doorstep after a couple little PayPal swipes. I sort of ordered this while I was in the middle of lifting weights (it’s a problem…).

Mine will be navy with white interlocking in case you needed the deets on that.
