Five for Friday!

Without a doubt, my Five for Friday posts will always end in an exclamation point because let’s get real…the end of the year is a slow crawl to the finish line.

1. Speaking of slow crawl…behavior has taken a bit of a nose dive. It always does this time of the year. This year is no different than any other year. I knew I needed to step up my game and do it really fast before the end of the year struggle bus got a hold of us all. The other day we made a deal. I sort of laid it all out there about those beginning of the year behaviors returning and what we needed to do to get it under control. I told them if we could turn things around, they could change seats and make their own name tags for their desks. I’m telling you…they were golden for the rest of the day and they really have been ever since.

Now, I just need to come up with something they like just as much for next week 🙂

2. I received such a sweet gift from one of my families yesterday. One of the little boys in my class came in with the cutest monogrammed lunchbox filled with goodies and the sweetest note ever.

Melt. my. heart.

3. Earth Day was this week and we went on a “trash walk”…which was another excuse to get outside and enjoy the beautiful weather!

4. I’m just about done with May BUILD math stations. It should be done my Sunday. #procrastinator

5. I am BEYOND excited to go to the Walk the Moon concert tonight. I got tickets for Christmas and I have been so excited since then and it’s finally tonight! This pregnant lady is going to get her booty out on a Friday night.
