At least not yet anyways…
Happy Halloween Friday to you. And me, really.
I am thanking my lucky stars this year for Halloween falling on a Friday. The day after Halloween needs to be considered a national holiday. Kids come in with their faces half painted after their parents gave up trying to scrub it off. Drool hanging, eyes drooping, half a kit-kat stuck in their ear. Well maybe not the kit-kat, bit, but they can barely put one foot in front of the other the day after Halloween.
Candy hangovers are a real thing.
I’m just glad that this year, they get to sleep it off.
I’m linking up for Five for Friday this week.
1. I keep forgetting to share Yankz for kids. I used these when I was doing my triathlon this year. Typing 22 pairs of shoes get old quick. These are just a quick slip on and a tug on the string. Done and done. You can get them on Amazon. I suggested it to my parents at Open House this year and it has been a lifesaver.
2. I love the way these bats turned out. They are SO stinkin’ cute. Even better, they are a freebie from Khrys’s TpT store.
3. We did so many fun Halloween books and activities this week. The Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything and Skeleton Hiccups are two of my favorites.
4. I’m throwing a sale through the end of today on my TpT store 🙂
5. I did a post earlier in the week on running literacy stations in your classroom after having a lot of teachers ask me about it. Click here or on the picture to get some new ideas or at least to get a free download of my rainbow word writing 🙂
There are my five!
I hope that you have a wonderful Halloween and a much deserved relaxing weekend 🙂
I’ve never even heard of Yankz. They are perfect for kindergarten and I can think of a few of my 2’s that could use them! Those bats are adorable. Thanks for sharing.
