H is for Home {Thankful Linky}

I’m continuing on with the linky party over at Blog Hoppin’!

You can join in the fun whenever you want. It is going until Saturday. Being out of the classroom for the week and at the {ahem} beach for a few days was leaving me a little lost on what to blog about this week. I’m going to admit it when I say that I am not working on anything besides my tan for a few days. My brain needs some down time.

My most favorite place of all is Home.

That’s my H.

I am technically not writing this while I’m at my house so I think that makes me even more thankful for it because I can’t WAIT to get home at the end of the week. I do love my adventures and traveling with my hubby, but there is nothing like walking in the front door and just being home.

We built a house last year and got to do a lot of things that we were wishing for in a house. I took this picture the day that we moved in.

I really love doors that make a statement.

Yellow doors in particular.

I’m also a big white kitchen fan. And an even bigger fan of my hubby being the chef of the house. Writing this post is making me so homesick!

Wah.

We started with a blank slate so decorating as we go has been a lot of fun. Pinterest and Target were our best friends as we started to fill our house up.

The back porch is also a place we like to hang with the weather allows.

It’s just the 3 of us and we are thankful for our home and for each other. Now I’m kind of ready to get back!
