Did you miss me?

I know…I missed you all too!

Seriously, I was having withdrawal from all of the pictures at the Indiana Blogger Meet-Up! All of my best buddies were hanging and I was missing out! Even if I was in Jamaica…{if you know me} I hate a missed social opportunity! Good thing I had another meet-up planned with some of my other best buds in San Antonio this weekend. Even though I missed all of the fun in Indiana, Jon and I were able to make do 🙂 

The sunsets were the best part of the whole trip.

I am easing back in to the swing of normalcy. Getting back in to town at 11 p.m. the night before the first day back after Spring Break is a bit crazy. A little girl in my class asked me what was up with my hair this morning. She walked in and the first thing that came out of her mouth was, “Mrs Hall!?! What happened to your hair? Did you forget to brush it?”.

This is called the rolled out of bed and threw my clothes on look.

While I was poolside, I read Wonder and the rest of the Divergent series. I’m not going to give anything away, but do yourself a favor and read Wonder. I read the entire book on our way home yesterday and it was amazing.

Continuing with the rando post…becaues that’s just how it’s going today.

Really, that was just a way to brag on my kiddos and their writing. The last one was my favorite. If you don’t read Kindergarten, it reads “I lost my first tooth on the airplane. We thought it was lucky because it was St. Patrick’s Day”.

Hello.

Kid couldn’t tell me all of his letters and sounds 7 months ago. I feel like I normally see leaps and bounds in their academics after Christmas, but I feel like this is going to be the big jump. They all just seemed a little older and more mature when they walked in today.

It could have also been the lack of sleep…

Kidding.

They are going to rock it out the rest of the year.
