Did you have to peel yourself out of the bed this morning like I did!? O…..m…..g…..
Not that I’m counting down to summer (28 1/2 days) or anything but I will be so happy when my first instinct in the morning isn’t to throw my phone across the room!
Since I was too lazy forgot to link up with my fellow TN teacher, Latoya, last week…I thought I would get to it this morning before the craziness of the week ensued. Isn’t it crazy how quiet your classroom can be before the kids arrive? It’s like the calm before the storm.
Here’s the linky this week!
Skittles Game!
Red– Favorite Ice Cream Flavor.
That would have to be cheesecake from my favorite frozen yogurt place. I am a chocolate girl through and through but this is my jam!
Orange– Favorite Memory from College
There are lots of great memories I have from college. I think my favorite one is meeting my hubby. I had that feeling that everyone talks about. “When you know, you know.”
Another of my favorite memories was when we won our conference (I swam in college) my freshman and senior year. This is a picture of us about seven (eek) years ago!
Yellow– Favorite Sports Team
Go Cubs!!!! That is heaven on earth for me. Wrigleyville is the best place in the world. Since I don’t live in Chicago, we go to a lot of Titans games. If I had to pick my favorite hockey team, that would be the Predators. I could keep going but I’ll stop there.
Green– Favorite Fast Food Place
I don’t go often, but when I do I get a chocolate milkshake too!
Purple– Wild Card(Tell anything about yourself)
I know I live in TN, but my grandparents live in Florida and I learned how to surf when I was 12. It’s my all time most favorite thing in the world to do. I haven’t gone in a couple of years but next year I am keeping my fingers crossed I will get to go on a surfing trip somewhere fun!
Just a little bit of classroom fun to share with ya!
We started talking about insects this week. Of course, I am incorporating living/non-living and an author study on Eric Carle. Click the picture to grab this syllable page for free!
I love frozen yogurt, too. We have a place here that has a flavor called chocoholic and it is just so delicious!! Add in all those mixins, and boy what a great treat!
Sounds like my kind of place!
The syllable sheet looks great, but I can’t get it to come up. Could you please check the link? Thanks!!

It is the best!
Several people have picked Chick-fil-A as their favorite! Surfing looks like a lot of fun. I’ve never done that.

Welcome!
That’s so cool that you surf! I think it would be neat, but I’ve never lived close enough to waves (unless a hurricane was coming), even though I grew up within an hour of the beach.
Don’t Let the Teacher Stay Up Late
Haha…just visited your blog! Love it!
I love when you said, “When you know, you know.” It is so true!

We are HUGE Cubs fans here too! My hubby has our family room in the basement decked out in Cubs & Bears. Maybe sometime we could all go to a game together!! 🙂 You and your hubby are completely adorable.

I go to a cubs game pretty much every summer! Yes…we are meeting up this summer. I try not to miss a year without being in Chicago. I would live there is a second but the hubs says it’s too cold..boo
