Jon and I decided to get fancy last night and head out for a night on the town…let me tell you…it was an interesting night! I know I sound like such an old lady but I think next year we are going to stay in and have a game night. I am not a girl that can last until 4 a.m….That being said, I am a little late on my New Year math and literacy mini-unit that I have been working on. It’s only a few pages but I hope that you will be able to use it. I love talking about the Chinese New Year when we get back because it builds on the holidays around the world that we discussed before the break. This is a mini-unit because I don’t like to be stuck on New Years for more than about a day because there is so much fun stuff to do when we get back! I am always so excited to start our author study on Jan Brett and different Shared Reading stores! I would love to hear what other K-1 teachers are planning on doing once we get back to school! Leave me your ideas 🙂
