You notice that I don’t have New Ideas?
Just one…it’s not plural.
I was sitting in another Kindergarten room this week of two much smarter Kindergarten teachers and literatly smacked my forehead. Those moments when you realize their way is obviously so much better than your way. I just walked in to their rooms and told them I was photographing and blogging about how smart they are (really…genius) Upon saying that, I came to the somber conclusion of how opposite I will look. I will be transparent and show you what my posters look like compared to their savy little system (womp womp).
They win.
This is my winter break project.
They have all of their posters hot glued to hangers and they hang on a rolling coat rack. I have been in their rooms a bijillion times and it never even occured to me what these coat racks with paper hanging on them were until two days ago. Captain Obvious hasn’t been doing me any favors I guess.
Are you kidding me!? Look at those posters. It is ridiculously organized and when they want to use them, they just unhook it and it hangs on their easel.
What am I doing with magnets over here?!
I am still baffled that I have been going in to their classrooms for however many years and this has never occured to me. The overwhelming amount of posters that I have accumalted over the few years I have been teaching are shown here. No wonder I can’t find a poster that I made last year.
They are stuffed and rolled up wherever I can find room in the cubbies.
Did I say this was going to be my winter break project? I meant Thanksgiving break project.
This has been a great week of reading different ideas and teaching activities. I can’t wait to see what you all have up your sleeves today. Obviously, someone needs to get learnt over here. Link up with us for the last day and make sure to check out Blog Hoppin’ tomorrow for a gigantic giveaway!
I love your idea. I have the same kind of rolled up mess. Maybe I will try this idea out over Thanksgiving break as well. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks
Dana
