I know I know…it’s October 3rd. I am a gazillion years late {in blog world timing}.
We just got done for the day so you know that sound of silence that you have in your classroom right after the leave and the craziness (I have a story) of dismissal is over? Yeah, that’s what I am a fan of.
The house is coming right along!
It really is so fun to watch it go up!
Ok, I am not kidding when I tell you what just happened at dismissal today. So I am a rule follower and rule enforcer. I have always been like that. I understand my kids that follow rules and I have a hard time understanding kids that just don’t. I try to understand them and I work really hard to help them, but deep down it’s a struggle for me because of the way I’m wired. I know this about myself.
So today at bus duty at the end of the day, some crazy skateboard blur goes flying by almost knocking over a T.A. and a line of Kindergartners like dominoes. Not a student at our school. Some kid from middle school (thoughts of middle school makes me cringe…bless all you middle school teachers out there!).
Long story short, I chased him down with the principal. All the way to the end of the neighborhood.
In my flip flops.
He got off of his skateboard and ran.
I would be scared too if I was chasing you.
You will find me at dismissal tomorrow with my running gear on.
Which brings me to my Kindergarten blend.
And a treat for you <3
I love the sound of silence too 🙂 The skate board incident made me laugh lol! I hope you catch him 😉 Your freebie is adorable!
Oh my word. LOL….I can see it now!! Good luck catching him! 😉
