One more week til Thanksgiving Break. I am chanting to myself “I think I can, I think I can, I think I can…”.
We have our little Thanksgiving program on Tuesday afternoon and our Thanksgiving feast on Friday. Didn’t I just put my plans up for Halloween? I can’t keep the decorations in my house current. I’m thinking I might just put up the Christmas tree with a turkey in it.
Tonight and tomorrow, I am getting to go hang out with some of my buddies at the SDE conference here in town. Greg, from Smedley’s Smorgasboard, and I are probably going to be getting in to some mischeif 🙂

I am so excited to see the presentations this week that my kiddos are going to do on Thursday. They are always so much better the second time around. It’s amazing to see their progress. Here is one of my all time favorites from last year…Hudson’s Elvis Presentation. This was the presentation on Famous Americans. This week, they are presenting about their Holiday Traditions. It’s amazing to watch them get up and speak in front of the class and to see how their confidence grows throughouth the year. Love the weeks we get to do these!
On to other news that has absolutley nothing to do with school…I went for a run yesterday and stopped by the house! I am so stinkin’ excited it’s just not even funny. There is insulation in and all of the siding is up.
We are painting the house gray and I can’t wait to see it! Did you just ask yourself…is that a fireplace on the patio? And to answer your question…yes it is. I am going to find the biggest, coziest, comfiest outdoor couch out there to put on that patio. That will be my permanent office out there. Anyone have any suggestions on where I should look? I love the Resortation Hardware one (of course) but would love to have money left over for food…
