My heart is so incredibly full after this weekend visiting Ron Clark Academy. I promise that I’m going to fill you in on my amazing weekend but I am still in such a mesmerized state that I’m not sure I could do it justice this afternoon. I also went to bed after midnight the past three nights because we will all so charged up and having too much fun to sleep. #Mondayisgoingtorockmyworld

Here is my bookshelf for the week. My intention is to start my Jan Brett author study but I’m not sure that I’m going to have time!
We have oral presentations tomorrow, DRA testing, a field trip to see Elephant and Piggie and Punctuation Police is happening on Thursday. I promise to have full details on what we do on Thursday but I’m keeping it under lock and key until then! I can say that I am WAY super excited to do it after being at RCA this weekend!

I am really hoping that I can get Jan Brett books in this week but if not, there is always next week! All of the activities that we are “planning” to do can be found in my Jan Brett unit.
I also sort of forgot that we are doing football stuff this week. We started new math tubs last week and my kids always love this addition math football game.
My kids always get excited the week before the Superbowl so I have a few things that I like to do with them (time permitting…). A lot of the activities can be used in stations or independently.
I’m also going to make this adorable Football buddy from Cupcake for the Teacher.
Tomorrow, the students are giving their oral presentations about their favorite toy. This is the time when they start to get really confident and you can see how much they have grown from doing oral presentations since August.
We are going to see Elephant and Piggie on Wednesday. I have the kiddos do a reflection of the trip once we get back. This is a freebie that you can grab!
