Peek at my Week and IG Giveaway

I am a little late to the party today.

I can’t get over the nice weather. We just took our 7 pound overweight dog on a 3 mile walk. She  (ahem) needs to trim down a bit. She would be mortified if she knew I was telling you all this. She is quite sensitive.

Rough life…

Since I’ve been traveling so much, I’ve been a bit of a slacker when it came to plans. I’m feelin’ REAL good about myself today. That’s until Monday hits and then I feel like I have nothing together.

I wonder what it’s like to have it all together.

These next two weeks are two of my most all time favorite weeks of teaching. First of all, I feel like I can actually get in to some fun content and they really comprehend what we are talking about. Most kids think that animals and weather are pretty cool topics…and by kids I mean 27 year olds.

Next week, we are going to continue to learn and talk about animals and expand on their habitats. They love the habitat research project we do. I let them I used to do the whole diorama thing where they used to build the habitat and write about it. To be honest, it took up so much time and was such a mess, that we are going to use our non-fiction habitat books from American Reading Company to research. These books are so beyond perfect for my kiddos because they can actually READ them!

We also have some books that we borrowed from the library so they have more than one book to look through to gather information.

We are going to start talking about weather on Friday.

Speaking of being a procrastinater/slacker I finally got this bad boy up-loaded! Didn’t I ask you all what you wanted in this packet like a MONTH ago!?
