I just created this great emergent reader for when we get back in January. There are also four activities that go along with the book. I am going to put it in a literacy station and students have to read the color words and color the picture to  match. The four activities include writing using a text-to-self connection from the book, sight word matching, and a sight word coloring page. Happy Teaching 🙂
