Hey guys!
I feel like I need to greet you because it has been a minute since I have blogged. I hope that you took time out to enjoy time with your family and friends like I did. We had a wonderful Christmas filled with a lot of family time and a lot of food…
I sort of stayed off of here for a reason, but I can’t stay away for too long!
I started my Whole30 yesterday and let me tell you…I needed to!
More on that another time.
I know that a lot of you are looking to do more RAK (random acts of kindness) in 2015. I’ve been seeing many IG posts and resolutions where people are wanting to do small little things for others. Which I love <3 I think that when we model these kinds of behaviors to our kids, then it has a way of manifesting itself in to the acts of our little people. You don’t always have to buy something or have to give someone something, but if you’re like me then sometimes something small does mean a lot. Another K teacher got me a sweet card that had a hedgehog on the front {because I love hedgehogs and have been talking about how I want one for a classroom pet forever} and wrote me a sweet note inside.
Just because.
I found these EOS chap sticks at Costco. They are a favorite. If you don’t have a Costco membership {then you should get one}, you can get them here for a good price.
All you need to make this cute little welcome back gift is baker’s twine, scissors, an eos lip balm and a personalized tag.
Ignore my dirty scissors…
Open the chap stick and tie the baker’s twine in between the top and the bottom part.
Plug in your name and print off however many tags you need on card stock. Click on the image to download it for free.
Hole punch the top left corner and string it through.
You brighten someone’s day and all chapped recess lips are eliminated.
Coming back to school isn’t so terrible after all 🙂
Super cute idea! The link to the tags isn’t working for me 🙁
I think I fixed it 🙂
