I just created these two documents for my students for when we get back on Tuesday. You can pick either one…
I like to do four square writing with my students on multiple topics. It’s a great way to brainstorm or to do reading comprehension.
Another idea is to do the four square writing first. The kids write or draw about four things they did over the break. Then you can discuss narrowing one idea in to a small moment where they add detail. You may have to do it over two days, but it’s a great way to teach young writers how to stay on topic 🙂 I just created them today and they are free just by clicking the link below the pictures.
PLEASE let me know if it doesn’t work and I will e-mail it to you. This is my first go with Google Docs! To all of you that are going back tomorrow…I hope you have a great day back with your kids! We are going back tomorrow but I don’t get to see my kiddos until Tuesday…bummer!
