Five for Friday

It was a slow crawl to Friday, but we made it! It was a week full of new math skills/activities, sales, and Fairy Tales.

1. We had a week chalk full of new math tubs. They have learned so many new skills this year and we have a lot of independent practice going on to build on those skills. 2. I’m so excited about my new camera and lense! I am thinking about dipping my toe in photography as a hobby…because I just don’t have enough going on 🙂  It’s not actually here yet, but I can’t wait to get my hands on it! It also helps to have a pro-photographer on your team to help you figure out what button is what. The iPhone camera just isn’t quite cutting it anymore. 

3. How much have you already spent in the TpT sale? I don’t really want to make a public confession today…I’ll save that for Monday.

4. Fairy Tales galore…oh my goodness. So many good things happening this week during literacy. We have had such a good time reading different versions, analyzing characters, re-telling, writing and creating story element charts. 

 5. I can’t wait for Read Across America week next week! It is always such a fun week :).  Lily Asher has these super cute “Thing” earrings that I ordered this week. Check them out on her web-site! I bet if you ordered today then they would get to you in time!
