So…remember the blue book? I blogged about it a few weeks ago and ranted and raved about how fabulous it is! I still think it is but my kids are getting WAY bored and half of them are engaged. Even with letting them sit on the tables to do it on Friday, I can tell I am LOSING them!!!
Here’s what my solution is…. letter cards! You can get it for free just by clicking on the picture of the letters or by clicking here. This week, we are working on short “u” so I created this page for the sound substituting section of the book. I am going to try to come up with one every week so we can at least do it once. I also let the kids get out whiteboards and write for some of the sections. Even if you don’t do blue book, this is a great way to get your kids engaged for the day 🙂
