Once Spring starts up, I just can’t get enough of Eric Carle! It seems that I find a way to incorporate his books at least once a week between now and the end of the year.
We also start our study on insects this week as well. Lots of great books on our bookshelf this week to dive in to!

Tomorrow, we are going to be creating our Very Hungry Kindergarteners.
I also have a version for first graders.
So far this month, April math journals have been working really well for us! I think this format is manageable and they can take it home at the end of the month so they aren’t getting torn up in their desks.
I finished my May journals yesterday and they are on sale through the rest of today!

We are starting our insect/bug unit this week, too! We’ll go for two weeks…AND it seems like you and I are on the same page with Eric Carle. My classroom has a hint of Eric Carle theme and decor, and we’ll be reading The Hungry Caterpillar soon. Yay!
